Dr. Ann Monis, CEO, Clinical, & Forensic Psychologist
Dr. Ann Monis is the Chief Executive Officer of Transformative Healthcare Solutions and related businesses, including the Mental Health Center of Florida. These entities offer comprehensive psychological care for a broad spectrum of mental health issues and disorders throughout FL, GA, SC via in-office and telehealth talk therapy. With over ninety fully credentialed therapists, THS / MHCFL treat seniors, adults, children, and families with respect and compassion. Dr. Ann is also the founder of a non-profit, Florida Mental Health Coalition, providing behavioral health care services to vulnerable seniors, adults, at-risk youth, and first responders. This labor of love has been especially instrumental in helping those less fortunate during the pandemic and time of financial uncertainty.
Dr. Ann, as she is known to her patients and colleagues, graduated from Harvard Business School’s prestigious OPM program and is thus, a Harvard alumnus. She also possesses an MBA alongside a Doctorate in Clinical and Forensic Psychology. In her private practice, Dr. Ann is a highly regarded and sought-after clinical provider to a niche clientele. Dr. Ann’s career has included extensive training in individual, group, and family therapy and she has worked in all areas of assessment and evaluation, including forensic psychology, within her practice. Her areas of expertise include substance abuse, forensic psychology, and sex offender evaluation and treatment, as well as on-site immediate / emergency crisis intervention. Dr. Ann is also certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Family Mediator and is qualified as a Parenting Coordinator under statutory guidelines. Moreover, she is trained as a neutral mental health professional in collaborative law and as a Guardian Ad Litem by the Florida Bar family Section. Dr. Ann also has extensive experience conducting Social Investigations and Risk Assessments for the Florida court system and high profile Forensic cases as well as ongoing Clinical and Forensic testimony for the U.S. Government (SSA) nationwide.
Dr. Ann serves as a proud mentor to other psychologists in training and offers Pre-Doctoral Interns and Post-Doctoral Residents her knowledge and experience through her practice(s). Her firms have been approved by the prestigious American Psychological Association as well as the American Association of Psychology Post-Doctoral and Internship Centers. John Tar, Chief Financial Officer
John Tar has been a dedicated leader in the operations and finance industry for over 18 years. Before manning the helm as our dedicated CFO, John was a successful mortgage broker for juggernauts such as JPMorgan Chase. He became a steward of operational finance and instilled the importance of financial success for any industry. In addition to his accomplishments as a broker, John managed of hundreds of rental units as a property manager—boasting a portfolio of hundreds of units across the state of Florida for over six years.
Today, John oversees all logistics, operations and compliance for THS to ensure it's operating like a well-oiled machine. He continues to develop short. mid and long-term growth plans that is helping THS continue to lead the charge as the largest private Mental Health company in the state of Florida.
Dr. Robert Boxley, Psy.D., Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Robert Boxley is a licensed clinical psychologist that has treated people across the lifespan (toddlers, children, families, adolescents, adults, seniors) and from diverse backgrounds (veterans, severe/persistent mentally ill, marginalized populations) for over 40 years.
Dr. Boxley received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. He completed his doctoral psychology internship at the Village for Families & Children in Hartford, CT and completed his postdoctoral residency at the 45th Street Mental Health Center in West Palm Beach, FL.
Since 2002, he has directly trained and supervised over 300 psychologists and psychiatrists in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He has presented at over 80 conferences on diverse subjects in health psychology, trauma-informed care, adolescent psychology, and substance misuse; he has also taught doctoral classes in psychopathology, diagnosis and lifespan development. He currently works as Chief Clinical Officer for Transformative Healthcare Solutions, a Mental Health Center of Florida affiliated company.
Paris Gandy-Walker, Psy.D., APA Training Director
Dr. Paris Gandy-Walker is a clinical psychologist licensed and practicing in the states of Georgia, Florida, and New York. She received her Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) and Psychopharmacology Master’s of Science (MS) degrees from Alliant International University. Dr. Paris also holds additional training as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) through her Master’s of Science degree from Carlos Albizu University in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Paris has over 20 years of experience in mental health and has had the pleasure of working in many settings such as residential treatment facilities, a state psychiatric hospital, schools, outpatient clinics, hospitals, an adult crisis unit, a suicide hotline, and forensic settings. Through her professional experiences in California, Florida, New York, and Georgia, Dr. Paris has worked with a diverse and wide range of populations, including but not limited to children, adolescents, adults, families, couples, and groups.
Dr. Paris worked at Mental Health Center of Florida as Testing Director from 2017-2019. She returned to THS in 2022 and is currently the Associate Clinical Director and Training Director.
Dr. Paris also has a multi-state (Florida, Georgia, New York) private therapy practice called New Day Psychological Services.
